A day after she claimed that there was a “rise in love jihad cases in Maharashtra”, National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma continued to find herself in the midst of a controversy over her remarks and some tweets allegedly posted by her from her account from the period prior to her tenure as the commission’s chairperson. Sharma claimed that her account was hacked.

The Indian economy is at the “doorstep of revival” and both the govt and the RBI are maintaining an accommodative stance, according to RBI governor Shaktikanta Das. PLA soldier who strayed into LAC, handed back

The Indian Army handed over PLA soldier Corporal Wang Ya Long to the Chinese Army on early Wednesday morning. The PLA soldier was apprehended after he inadvertently crossed over into Indian territory in the Demchok sector of eastern Ladakh on Monday. Ya Lon was disoriented when he was taken into custody by Indian troops in the Demchok sector, TOI reported on Monday.
